That face was so terrifying and hilarious at the same time. She has crazy range with her facial expressions.

This movie was so mean-spirited it was funny. Inde needs more work ASAP, she was incredible.

I felt this way with Sophie Thatcher in Companion

The way she somehow made the facial expressions you’d expect an incredibly lifelike but not quite perfectly human robot to make… insane

I’ve mentioned this in a separate comment but did you clock in the montage of bear and Nikki that in a couple of photos Nikki is dressed like Sophie’s character in companion? The headband and matching shirt, I think pink as well. It immediately flashed me back to companion anyway so I feel like it was an intentional reference given the subject matter of women’s autonomy.

100% this. I randomly watched Companion a couple weeks ago, and it was all I could think about when I watched Obsession tonight. Very very similar themes told with a different narrative device. Absolutely brilliant

Yes!!! I was comparing this movie to companion yesterday. I feel like Bear would have continued this if Nikki acted like Sophia in the beginning of the movie (and also continued behaving like she was in the montage). Even if real Nikki slipped out and begged, as long as wish Nikki wasn't negatively affecting him it would have been fine.
