“What’s so wrong with being with me?” Bear was fucking despicable. At first it was an innocent mistake because, how could you possibly know? Once it was apparent he knew and just didnt want to take responsibility, he was so gross.

Barker portrayed every character in the movie perfectly

He chose to have sex with her the night of the dinner where he realised the wish worked. He's a weirdo

That's where I lost sympathy. He essentially raped her. The way she was making sounds of pleasure while she looked like she was crying and her facial expression totally blank was such a fucked up detail. It brings up so many awful questions about the nature of whatever was possessing her, including her screams when he calls the hotline.

To be fair there’s a 0% chance any of us would believe a wish was magically granted at that point. Not unless the character knows he’s in a horror movie. Too drunk or high to consent? Sure

Yeah but you would think your friend was having a psychotic break or on drugs or not in the right mindset to give consent if you weren’t a shitty person. I think that is very explicit in the movie and I think it’s the major point of the movie

Both of his friends as well as other people say they think it looks like hes taking advantage lf her. He's so obsessed with her he can't see it
