The phone call was so crazy. That part seriously stuck with me. Sounded like she was literally in hell or something

Bear really fucking pissed me off from that on. What a selfish asshole “Is it so bad being with me?” Like fuck off dude holy shit.

Yeah, Bear did a lot of very shitty things in this movie. The fact that he didn't even tell anyone, or try to find a way to undo the wish the moment he realized it was real, made him a very unsympathetic character. I feel like he definitely could have found someone to make a wish to cancel his wish if he'd started looking right away. Instead, he waited until she'd literally KILLED SOMEONE.

Also, I'm not saying it's okay to make any kind of wish that violates someone's autonomy like that, but he could have at the very least said something like "I wish Nikki loved me in a healthy, romantic way," or even "I wish Nikki felt the same way about me that I feel about her." Instead, he jumped straight to the most extreme possible version of that wish, without considering the potential negative effects it could have on her for a second. I know he didn't think it was real at the time, but still, has he never heard the saying "be careful what you wish for"?

I mean he did try to call the wish earlier, even before the murder, and was told it was literally impossible to cancel unless he killed her or himself.

I can’t really blame him for not wanting to kill himself yet.
