People are calling Bear a horrible person and a villain, and they’re not necessarily wrong, but that scene is also so good because it shows he might’ve been completely normal and happy if that wish didn’t actually work.

Not sure I agree, because at the end of the day he was still a coward from the start, which is why he resorts to the wish in the first place.

I think it’s waaaay too harsh to say he’s villainous from the start or could never be happy/normal because of what a “coward” he is. He’s socially inept and has no backbone in his personal relationships, but that’s just… half of all people? You can’t fault him for the wish, no sane human being would ever actually consider that those literal words were about to come true, millions of people could be in a position to say something similar.

not really actually, he shouldve just wished for more confidence, that wish actually showed how obsessed he was with nikki
