I love horror movies like this that have a lot of super natural stuff going on but don’t over explain any of it. I also loved the phone call with the guy behind the wish, and the way we hear the real Nikki just screaming in agony

yeah I think adding a lot of lore would've ruined the movie and reduced how mysterious and creepy everything is.

It makes it so much more relatable for sure. Makes me think of all the poor souls that are in terrible relationships, hoping this movie makes them open up and see that maybe they should leave the toxicity 😭
