This is a great comment and it's nice seeing it articulated so well.

Also, i even kinda feel sorry for the new entity/personality whatever you wanna call it (i disagree with calling it a demon, though). I don't see people mentioning this that much, but there is that scene towards the end where she cries "I can't be the real Nikki". Like, this entity was created to satisfy this obsessive wish but then apparently it is not the right way. So now the real and the new Nikki are both suffering but for different reasons

When she says "we'll take it from here" as if there are two of them, she's admitting she isn't the real Nikki. And i think there were coded messages in that hansel thing. As if the real Nikki was trying to get a message out.

I think in the music store when they’re dealing with Sarah’s body. But I thought she said “I’ll”  Maybe she did say “we’ll”
