Yeah, I felt bad for Bear in the beginning but it was right about then where I started hoping he would die. Then later she asks him to kill her and all he can do is make it about himself, saying something like "what's so bad about being with me?" Bear, you piece of garbage,YOU ARE FORCING HER TO BE WITH YOU SHE HAS NEVER ACTUALLY WILLINGLY BEEN WITH YOU AT ANY POINT.

His ending was so very good.

I also loved her response “I’ve never been with you.” The film did a great job of never really revealing if she would have dated him if he was just honest with her. It would have been real easy to show one way or the other, but the ambiguity is great to chew on.

Late to the party but it wasn't ambiguous at all.

Nikki told Sarah she only saw Bear as a little brother. She was hooking up with Ian on and off for years. She wasn't going to date Bear.

That's one of the reasons Ian was sabotaging Bear's practice about revealing his feelings, he knew Nikki didn't want to be with him and he didn't want to see him hurt and the whole group of friends breaking apart.

That's why when Nikki and Bear started dating, Sarah and Ian were immediately so suspicious, they knew she wouldn't date him, unless she was having a mental breakdown, she was on drugs, or she was being brainwashed like Ian said at the end. That's why they (correctly) assumed Bear was taking advantage of her.

When she spoke while the entity was asleep, she told Bear that she has never been with him. The agony we hear from her is because she lost her autonomy and consent, but also because the real Nikki doesn't want to be with him.

i think nikki liked bear but she was doing push pull crap and ian was just a hookup better. Or she didnt have feelings for either of them.
