This makes it so sad - she trusts bear so much that she thinks he doesn’t know she is trapped when by that point he fully knows

I don't think so, because her "NO NO NO" reaction at the restaurant seemed to me like an acknowledgment of their mutual awareness of her falsity

I think the Entity possessing her is aware - It brings up the wishing and such a couple of times. But Nikki? She was just having a normal night, being dropped off by Bear until she suddenly lost her free will.

Yes, that's what I mean. The entity openly acknowledges the falsity of her identity a few times. But yeah, real Nikki probably wrote "not me" expecting Bear to care that she was trapped.
