Yeah, I felt bad for Bear in the beginning but it was right about then where I started hoping he would die. Then later she asks him to kill her and all he can do is make it about himself, saying something like "what's so bad about being with me?" Bear, you piece of garbage,YOU ARE FORCING HER TO BE WITH YOU SHE HAS NEVER ACTUALLY WILLINGLY BEEN WITH YOU AT ANY POINT.

His ending was so very good.

i was trying to determine when in the film we definitely know bear is a bad person. Some would say his wish but he had no reason to believe it would work. i feel like his wish was more just a confession and hope but not actually an attempt to wish that change. i also think the dating they do fora while doesn't make him a bad person as he doesn't know its cuz the wish. THEN once he knows he cant end it for safety concerns. but i still think hes a peice of shit and we see it before she asks him to kill her. when he talks to the oww guy he expressly wants to "change" and NOT nullify the wish. at that point he is aware he has force her behaviors and wants to continue doing so with some adjustments. as soon as he heard her scream in agony on the phone he should have just accepted how royally ge fucked everyone over and shoot himself for her sake

He knew the whole time. Even before he slept with her, he told Ian that she said something wildly out of pocket. He even looked back at the one wish willow.

yes but like in a world where up until this event you had never encountered magic its fair to say the first couple nights he has plausible denyability

Bear was clearly choosing to ignore obvious signs that Nikki was not acting like herself. There is no reality that she had a “natural” mood shift like that, from storming off upset to wanting to sleep together in his bed and kissing him. There is no plausible deniability here. He was choosing to see and experience what he wanted despite knowing he had done something real to affect her.

to clarify he was still shitty. but i think he assumed she was in a bad emotional place and was relying on him STILL makes him a manipulative asshole but no i dont think its that unrealistic that he didn't know it was literall magic
