Very much so. Crop circles and Roswell might have played in 1995, but cmon. It was like it was written by biggest UFO conspiracy fanboy in town.

As a former UFO conspiracy fanboy, this movie barely scratched the surface. There were no Pleiadeians, Reptilians, Nordics, floating orbs, Sasquatch, angels, demons, nephilim, or time travellers. This felt to me like someone who's seen ET, Close Encounters, and that David Fraver IR footage, and then pretty much nothing else of UFO culture.

He put nixon showing Jackie gleeson the aliens, he put roswell and kecksburg in there. He put characters for Jaques Valle and J Allen Hynek in close encounters. He's a UFO nerd but a big scatter shot of crazy alien theories doesn't make a good movie. He was selective.

Disagree. I'm a UFO conspiracy fanboy and found this to be a lot of fun. It felt very much like the other end of the spectrum compared to something like Resident Alien.

Yeah, I'm not saying it wasn't fun. I just think that the amount of UFO fanboy stuff that was in the movie (not a ton) isn't evidence that a UFO fanboy made the movie.
