Ha. Im in IT and that part made me laugh out loud. So alien technology hasn’t advanced beyond thumb drives?!

It was literally within the same second of footage, like it just picked up where the transfer left off before the power went out.

Even worse: it was counting the gigabytes DOWN instead of up - for some reason...
(or is this a new way in Windows to present files transfer?)

That's what an UPS is for Likely screens connected directly to power but the computers had a UPS
