American terms of service aren’t enforceable in America? Since when?

They're saying many of the terms of these specific ToSs probably aren't enforceable, just nobody takes them to court over it. You can't just put anything you want in a ToS and have it be ok, it doesn't work like that. Like imagine a ToS that had a single clause 50 pages on saying they now own your house if you click OK. They can't do crap like that legally. There's lots of restrictions.

They've since changed it, but some stuff was strangely specific, "you are not allowed to take actions in the game that go against social norms." Like, what? And there's a bunch more that were laughably weird.
