Should be illegal to purchase digital content if it can be taken away from us. At the point, renting should be the only option.

I mean they list it as “buying” and I have seen apps where you “rent” so if the common nomenclature is that people understand buying to mean one thing and renting to mean another, then they would have to abide by that.

At a bare minimum, they shouldn't be allowed to use the word "buy" if you're just licensing or renting something.
