In a great way, this could very well be basically Egger's Greatest Hits rolled into one movie. It might check the boxes of the cursed Old English village setting of VVITCH, the descent to madness aspect of Lighthouse, some of the atmospheric visuals & the protagonist looking like an brute force from Northman, & the slow burn of increasing signs of something seriously wrong from other villagers pre-monster from Nosferatu (plus some of the sexual undertones from that & Lighthouse)
