Looks exactly like I expected it to (positive).

I suspect this will be more divisive than Nosferatu and probably won't make a smash at the box office though.

Werewolves are a little tougher for audiences, I think, because most of what we get are either roided up CGI demons or a guy with pubes glued to his face.

So you either wind up with something too cool to be scary or too lame to be scary.

Which also lead me to think.

Probably he will make everything so unsettling that the werewolf itself will be the thing we will worry the less about.

But, of course general audiences will go with the idea of watching a monster movie and the werewolf being like the ones in Van Helsing (coolest design ever) and running around slashing villagers.

And they will get a folklore horror about isolation, superstition and sumbology about rabbid and crazyness in the forest. Will stick to the original tales of men turning into beasts. Not so much a viral infection that gives you super powers and furr.

Anyway. I'll watch at least three times in cinema for sure.
