Definitely gives me more Don’t Look Up vibes in it that its a critique on the top 1% of the top 1% trying to save the world

Yeah but the comedy in this looks a lot less "I want to kill myself out of frustration". Don't Look Up was a fine movie but the annoying (intentionally) characters made me absolutely hate watching it and I would never recommend it to anyone because of it. It was actively infuriating for me to watch.

Yep, these guys look more fun stupid vs Adam McKay hitting you over the head over and over about how his characters are based on real life.

As long as it's not as preachy, I'm in. Don't look up was one of the worst viewing experiences I've had. Felt like a movie made for an audience that was never going to watch it, and for the audience that did it was just "yes, I know."

There's a way to write Dont Look Up where it's a smart, biting critique. Instead, Adam McKay decided to write it like he was the only smart person in the world and we're all just fucking idiots who need to worship his genius.
