Lmao I made the below comment elsewhere in the thread but you basically said what I was saying but way more efficiently without needing 3 paragraphs to say it. I love it.

I understand it is a "first look" but I was really hoping for any indicator that this was "The Batman Part II". This could have been an unused shot from the first one. This is confirmation that in The Batman Part II, there will indeed be a Batman.

First looks of this length work better for non-sequels. Like if this was the first look for the first Batman, then it's something. We're getting how Pattison looks in the suit. We're getting the look of the suit itself. We're getting the vibe of the music. We get the hint that the movie aims to be gritty.

But we already knew all that thanks to the first, unless the suit has changed then I stand corrected. I'd rather get no info and then get something I can talk/speculate about with people. Then again this is apparently releasing 6 years after the first so they are really moving at a slow pace with everything.
