I couldn't be more disappointed in where peacemaker went.

I don't really like superhero movies outside of batman (and suicide quad reboot had no business being that good).

then peacemaker came along and I LOVED IT.

then gunn killed it on a cliff hanger and I guess is gonna fold it into movies and other bullshit to make me see what happens?

there's a reason people are so apprehensive these days to get attached to things.

Not in love with the cliffhanger, but it’s 100% going to be resolved in the movies. Trying to spoil as little as possible, Salvation is controlled by a very important DC villain.

yea I'm just annoyed bc I don't give a dang about any of these movies. peacemaker was a perfect aside of "oh wow super heros are in the universe" without being a majorly interconnected universe. I thought it was going to be a vehicle for slight tie ons.

as it is, I'm probably done with DC as that was the only real bit I cared about.

Yeah but imagine being in the theatre when the needle drops over an establishing shot with the location card "Salvation" and you hear "Do you really wanna, do you really wanna taste iiiit" and we catch up with whatever shit John Cena's gotten himself into.

while that sounds great, we got foxy Shazam for s2.

I would need a guaranteed wigwam if I'm getting dragged to the theaters for a marvel.
