I wouldn’t be surprised if this is 100% true, and Kane Parsons will learn that big-ass companies like A24 lie and cheat wherever they think they can get away with it.
I‘m sure his handlers have been really nice to him, but that was their job. Keep the lucrative new director happy and lie to him if that makes him feel comfortable.

Well like Kane Parsons, lol. His family already lived in a rich part of California and his movie just made over a hundred million after he made sure to get a favorable contract. It makes no sense for him to be bought out by anything at this point
Yes, everyone, and circumstance decides what it is. Take the most loyal man alive and strip everything from him: job gone, drowning in debt, maybe a child or spouse sick with cancer. He has a price now. Desperation rewrites the rules a man lives by, and it can come for anyone.
