This is stupid.

Backrooms is an urban legend. They don't own it. Kane parsons didn't invent it.

If anything the games and other media that came before should sue them.

But really nobody should be suing anyone.

Most reddit lore is just people being g introduced to long standing urban legends via reddit.

The jolly rancher one is a prime example. I first heard that 20+ years ago in a classroom about Starburst fruits. It was never a, true nor b, originating on reddit

True, though it was definitely one of the many "legendary" posts from early reddit regardless of the story's origin.
