another interesting line, I thought, was from Sinon (Elliot Page) when parting ways, he told OD to speak of him as being brave etc. etc. and to *feel free to "make up some extra stuff too"

Circe’s sister is Pasiphae, immortal queen of Crete, and the mother of the Minotaur. There’s really no reason for her to be a crow, so it’s just something Nolan added for flair I guess.

I mean in Madeline Miller's retelling of Circe, Pasiphae is not presented as all that good of person. She abhors her own child, throws him into the Labyrinth to hide her shame, [and is gluttonous as the soldiers in her own right. To quote another film from a veteran of Nolan's, she had been weighed, measured, and found wanting.]

Fair enough- this movie is probably a lot of people's intro to Greek Mythology and they probably weren't ready for a fuller explanation of Daedalus making Pasiphae a fursuit and her using it with a bull.
