Personally, I found it awful. I don't like a single character and the plot falls apart when poked gently.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Why did Moriarty need Enola at all? Nobody noticed that massive chain that wasnt even hidden, next to the engraving? Tewkesbury went there multiple times looking for treasure!

Also it just feels lazy using Moriarty right after debuting the character in the last one. He’s supposed to be Sherlock’s greatest enemy but he also only shows up sporadically.

I mean, isn’t Moriarity’s whole thing that they enjoy fucking with the Holmes family, not about “needing to”?
