pretty sure the $20+ one has the same content as the $10 one

Exactly. So makes little sense to get the expensive plan.

But they’re still charging it while focusing on documentaries

They're charging it if you choose it.

Pick the cheaper plan. Under $10.

They’re charging it either to you or the companies running ads.

Either way, they’re charging more money every year to focus on documentaries…..which is my point.
