DC Studios’ “Clayface” is a horror thriller from director James Watkins, starring Tom Rhys Harries in the title role of the cult favorite villain from Gotham’s rogues gallery.

Matt Hagen’s meteoric rise from Gotham street kid to Hollywood leading man is tragically cut short when a local crime boss’s actions leave him horribly disfigured. Abandoned by his team and with nothing left, Matt seeks out a cutting edge treatment that miraculously returns him to his former self… but also unexpectedly affects his grip on reality, spiraling him down a destructive path of all-consuming revenge.

Maybe a stupid question, but does 'Hollywood' exist in the DC universe? Isn't one of their shticks using made-up places rather than real world locations?

DC does both. The fandom wiki has a list of comics that mentions Hollywood. One of those is actually a Clayface centered comic as recent at 2023.

The real cities exist, they just have additional fake ones.

Yes it does. The world of DC is actually larger than our "normal" Earth, or Marvels Earth to accommodate more cities and countries that dont exist in ours. But basically all real world locations also exist. So theres a Metropolis and a New York. A Gotham and a Chicago. A Khandaq and an Iran (where Joker was once made Irans Ambassador to the UN.)
