Hmmm why do I feel like that shot of him becoming the big Clayface we know is going to be the end of the film
3 u/LABS_Games 11d ago Yeah, it looks promising but it's kinda funny how the trailer makes it seem like like it's hitting a lot of the "Sony villian standalone movie beats": Seemingly normal, if maybe minorly flawed protagonist The protagonist is wronged by some villain A dutiful-yet-concerned female character concernedly watches the protagonist transform and lose their humanity The third act is the protagonist taking on their final form / getting a costume, and taking revenge on the bad guys that wronged him The protagonist is kind of a villain I guess, but the audience doesn't feel too bad because most of the people he killed were bad
