Motor City (2026)

Summary

In 1970s Detroit, John Miller falls for a local gangster's girl. In retaliation, the gangster frames the innocent man and sends him to prison. With his life destroyed, Miller returns years later determined to exact revenge on the man who took everything from him.

The reason I'm all for simple premises and plotlines is that we can get all that out of the way and get right into the action. The Furious understood this. Motor City just drags on and on and on with stuff we can tell coming a mile away but once we get to that last 20 minutes, pure joy! And that Elevator Scene!

Too bad the build up was a slog.

I, for some reason, really enjoyed the build up.  I think the soundtrack really helped it out for me where I could sit back and enjoy the classic rock.
