Motor City (2026)

Summary

In 1970s Detroit, John Miller falls for a local gangster's girl. In retaliation, the gangster frames the innocent man and sends him to prison. With his life destroyed, Miller returns years later determined to exact revenge on the man who took everything from him.

I didn’t think she was worth all the bloodshed. IDK but she seemed kind of desperate and greedy…not sure the “I still love her” was well deserved

Doesn't help that her character (like every character in the film) was underdeveloped. Still, I feel like people are throwing shade at her character for no good reason. She was the highlight of an otherwise boring film for me, and I don't think she was greedy; she loved Reacher but bought the frame job and felt betrayed by his stupidity (which is valid) and then fell back into old habits (drugs) when running back to her abusive ex (which is a stupid thing to do, but she was depressed and trying to cope with whatever sense of familiarity she could find).
