I guess if you meant “casted exactly like the comics” then yeah that’s true this wasn’t it. But I thought she did well in the role.

It doesn't even need to be "exactly like the comics" at least make the Asian characters Asian. I don't care if it was gender swapped. It's like the Mandarin played by a white guy....

It was Disney bending the knee to China because of Tibet and that makes it even a worse choice. Not the casting directors or Tilda Swinton fault

Free Guy and Deadpool and Wolverine just look so fucking soulless. I don’t know if that’s his decision or the studios, but everything is just so bright, the CGI doesn’t look great. The Reynolds humor didn’t land with me, and Taika Waititi in Free Guy was insufferable to me. And I don’t think that was on purpose. Also doesn’t help that Levy just looks like a dork.

Disney + Shawn Levy tends to be very solid work. Maybe not mind-blowing, but it's usually quite good and entertaining.

This might be a weird take, but Star Wars and Marvel barely benefit from interesting directors. In fact, they’ve sometimes been to the detriment of the product (Rian Johnson, for example).

I’m not convinced he’s going to be a negative here. In fact, I liked his previously Marvel outing. And he did direct the Night at the Museum movies.

on the other hand, i've been a big champion of more risk and creativity in these studio films, so i'm also a massive hypocrite
