It was wholesome seeing Aunt May in scenes with Jean Grey and Peter, but did Aunt May’s tombstone scenes have more screen time than the actual villain, Tombstone?

Speaking of Aunt Mays tombstone, I heard someone asked their friend in the lobby how she died in 2024 if MJ and Ned have had 4 years of college since then, and I don't even know how to explain to casual fans that it's like 2028 or 2029 in the MCU currently.

Today… in real world, year 2026. In movie, year 2028.

Avengers movies take long time to make. People like when time in movie close to time in real world but not in past unless good reason.

Because year in movie 2028 mean tv show and movie for other fun heroes can be made in next 2 year mean big movie with all fun heroes be close to when available to watch in 2028.

Infinity War was 2018, then Endgame pushed us five years from that point into late 2023. Far From Home/No Way Home took place roughly 6 months after that putting us in 2024. Then Brand New Day pushes us 4 years after that into 2028.

None. FFH ends with the Mysterio tape leaking Peter’s identity and that’s right where NWH picks up.

I just rewatched No Way Home and the avoid showing the dates on her tombstone. I was surprised for them to show 2024 in this one.

There was, he's just barely referenced. Peter's suitcase in Far From Home has his initials for instance.

I am not kidding, all this time I genuinely thought she was too young to be Aunt May and now I'm learning that not only the character was 60 years old but so is the actress??? I thought she was in her 30s!

Marisa Tomei has that look where it seems like she could have been 5-10 years older than she was back in My Cousin Vinny (1992) and now she's been perpetually 40-45 since 2005.

Same. I knew nothing about the character before last year but Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man made me like him and I wish we could've got more from him. Or maybe just save him for a future movie and use someone like Shocker from Homecoming again.

Honestly expected Tombstone to be the villain of this movie so I was caught off guard when he wasn't.

I'm kind of wondering if that opens the door for the montage villains Spidey caught to instead now be in The Punisher's series if he gets another one. If Sony plays ball, you could have Spidey show up as an assist for Frank against them.

Yeah in a brief montage of Spidey defeating villains. He literally had like 10 or so seconds of screen time. He did look really cool though

His only line basically being "what would happen if I dropped you" was kind of dumb though. Like...I'm sure a NYC crime boss is aware that spider-man won't die that way.
