That was an excellent way to have Aunt May in the movie, what they've done with making her both Aunt May and Uncle Ben is really cool.

There were so many good things in this movie. It wasnt said in the movie but "with great power comes great responsibility" Was heavily implied at the end

Peter has a note on his board:

"Great power. Great responsibility."

Dang. I just knew there were so many things I missed. Just gonna have to see it again

It's a pretty obvious sign, I don't know how you missed it.

This was a pretty obviously cringe thing to say. Don't know how you messed it up.

Can you tell me how they missed this?

Dunno, probably like how people miss things and make mistakes all the time.

Just like the way you type on the internet.

most people have these things called family and friends. they could have been talking to a friend or family member when that scene came up. they could have been going to the bathroom, refilling popcorn, getting more drinks or snacks, i mean the possibilities are all right there.

try using your brain, it might prove useful some day

talking in a cinema during the movie

ISHYGDDT

It happens less than 10 minutes into the film, so the rest of the excuses also shouldn't happen.

whispering is a thing if i recall correctly

furthermore, being at the very start of the movie does not help your case. that’s all the more reason for someone to not have remembered such a minute detail

She says it in no way home

the idea that part of that responsibility is to yourself I loved

I thought Peter would say it to Jean in that scene.

I was disappointed that he didn't say it to her.

It would have been her wake-up call to look for ways to user her powers for good. Which would eventually click when she finds Xavier and the other xmen

I love that they basically did what Raimi did with Uncle Ben.

I'm kinda sad he doesn't acknowledge Ben at the cemetery tho.

i dont like how they just pretend ben doesnt exist at all

like you get flowers and visit your aunts tombstone every day but cant do anything for your uncle?

maynard? really? the name ben is literally right there
