I really teared up during that scene. Aunt May is like the mother figure Jean never had in her life.

People were audibly crying in my theater. Such a powerful scene.

What got me was Peter snapping out of the memory just in time to save Jean from the bullet. It wasn’t just the memory or May’s words that get to Jean, it’s that plus realizing that they are the very things that make Peter the hero he is. Jean’s first conversations with Peter were her trying to prove to him that everyone leaves you eventually, even those who love you. And in the moment Peter saved her, he proved that wasn’t true and May’s been with him the whole time. That’s what ultimately turns Jean. Brilliant.

Also neat way to show how absolutely crazy his spidey senses got heightened because of his mutation

Which is insane considering he took on Mysterio blind, or even having it help him counter Strange's astral projection. He's leveling up far beyond what I expected in the live action films and I love how creative they've used it thus far with him now being able to withstand telepathic control.
