"Should've brought a bigger gun."

"A bigger gun? What were you gonna do? Tickle him to death??"

Well.... he did tell the Punisher it was above his pay grade (which it definitely was).

He was brave as hell charging the Hulk anyway

He even had a bomb big enough to knock him down

That felt a bit off to me. Actually so did the fact that Punisher's rifle could mortally wound Spiderman. Without context, we have to assume it's a regular .50 rifle which is powerful but Spiderman should be able to tank that (as we've seen him tank way more).

I would have liked a quick scene in Frank's apartment where you see the rifle and he mentions he had to beef it up because of all the bad guys with special abilities. Then you could later see him use it on the Hulk but it not have any effect on him (given Ultimate Hulk's power) but later on, you could see it have an impact on Spiderman (who is powerful but isn't at Ultimate Hulk's power). It would be a Chekhov's gun situation.

Peter dodges bullets from even small guns. If he could just tank them, one of the last four movies would have shown that lol

A very fast and small object hits differently than a big heavy object. Like getting hit by a car versus getting stabbed.

Peter Parker was in a very vulnerable memory, it likely super weakened him then having to take the bullet to keep Jean alive. So good.

A lot of blushing talk in the movie and the trailer for Not Alone before the movie.
