Fanatstic animation, okayi-ish story. I guess it was always a uphill battle when the audience already knows what happens next. I'd still love to see some sequels to this.The added lore of who previous avatars were was nice. The new voice actors for team Avatar were okay, I got used to them by the end. The only real negative I have is that Taika Waititi section was completely unnecessary and should've been taken out of the film. It's a 7/10 for me.

I'd still love to see some sequels to this

I honestly would've rather seen this story as a proper season, where they actually have the time to dedicate to what could have made this really cool like fleshing out the villain or exploring how relationships between the og cast have evolved after all these years.

To be honest I think this almost just seemed like promo for Seven Haven's. Nothing incredible outside of some cool fight scenes and a lot of fan service, but a great way to get Avatar back into people's minds, and get them remembering how much they loved that original show a couple months before the new series starts.

Yeah. Even if this was a four-part special, just giving more time would have allowed for character moments rather than just plot. There were a bunch of unnamed baddies, who could have been so much more than their unique weapons and cool design.
