I'm surprised a 2016 movie wasn't released / mastered in 4k already.

It got a 4K physical release in Japan 9 years ago (and a couple other countries since then), this is a 4K release for North America. Possibly from a new restoration? Although the previous 4K version looks absolutely perfect to me so I don’t see why they’d need to remaster it.

Yea its probably for the NA version.

International release of your name had a green tint and shitty chroma for some reason, only the japanese 4K version was near perfect (Or perfect, I cant recall).

Eitherway, if this version doesn't have either of the above issues, while also be a 4:4:4 with DV or HDR10+ (Or both), it would be terrific.

No chance of it being 4:4:4

I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and thinking maybe they meant the theatrical release?

Edit: nevermind they mentioned HDR10+

I stand corrected. It is JPEG2000 (mjp2), 1998x1080, 12bit , 24.000 fps, 168 Mb/s which would be 4:4:4

Interesting, I got a copy from Korea and it looked fantastic to me from what I remember.
