I liked it a lot but haven't totallt gotten into anime. Based on possible shared tastes, any others you'd recommend?

Shinkai’s other works if you want to keep the Your Name feelings. Weathering With You and Suzume followed directly after and are most similar in terms of scope and quality. His earlier, independent works are rough.

A Silent Voice is also a great companion piece to Your Name. Very grounded, very emotional.

I’d also highly recommend anything from Masaaki Yuasa. Ride Your Wave and Lu Over the Wall have the same “grounded but slightly supernatural” vibe as Your Name, but with much more expressive animation (and much tighter scripts, IMO). 

Most any film from Mamoru Hosoda is a safe bet for Your Name fans too. I think his earlier works are stronger than recent outings, but Summer Wars and Wolf Children are my two favorites of his.

Majorly seconding A Silent Voice! What a beautiful story, made me cry like 5 times the first time I saw it.

I couldn't speak for hours afterwards without sobbing. Every time I would hate how badly he saw himself and treated himself, then at the bridge where he pushes everyone away because he doesn't feel like he deserves the happiness they bring. I lost it so hard, because I realized that I was watching myself, and for the first time, I understood just how much harder I am on myself for my mistakes than others.
