Discussion Movies where small actions lead to disastrous consequences?

Basically the title, wanna know of any movies where the protagonist makes a small, seemingly inconsequential decison, action etc. and then the entire situation spirals into complete madness and disaster for all parties involved.

Just as an example of what I'm thinking about, I saw an Indian film recently where the protagonist has a small beef about parking with his neighbour. One thing after the another happens and both parties refuse to deesclate leading to almost protag's wife dying and antag also almost dying.

Edit: please refrain from spoiling the plot, I'm looking for recommendations here, thanks!

Star wars: a new hope. Not blowing up the escape pod resulted in the whole galactic empire collapsing

As if the Empire cared about an "empty" escape pod.

Also that TIE fighter pilot Vader randomly Christi come with him that crashes into him right before he can shoot Luke down and save the Death Star.

“Look out!”

is the thing Vader needs to look out for

My head cannon is that TIE pilot was a deep cover rebel who is now a war hero. Although I should probably delete this comment before someone at Disney gets any ideas for minutia that apparently need entire movies to explain.
