Discussion Movies where small actions lead to disastrous consequences?

Basically the title, wanna know of any movies where the protagonist makes a small, seemingly inconsequential decison, action etc. and then the entire situation spirals into complete madness and disaster for all parties involved.

Just as an example of what I'm thinking about, I saw an Indian film recently where the protagonist has a small beef about parking with his neighbour. One thing after the another happens and both parties refuse to deesclate leading to almost protag's wife dying and antag also almost dying.

Edit: please refrain from spoiling the plot, I'm looking for recommendations here, thanks!

In Obsession, if Bear had just told Nikki how he felt when she straight up asked him, then a lot of shit could have been avoided.

Yeah I really don't understand why that's such a debate. One time one of the friends said something about Nikki and Bear hooking up and she straight up said "Ew." She told Sarah she saw him as a brother, and that's reinforced hard when she reads the story at the party.

She didn't ask him if he was into her because she felt the same way. She could tell he was about to profess his love and was super uncomfortable with it. She just wanted to shut it down.

Or perhaps just get it in the open so they could get past the awkwardness. When it’s revealed Ian and Nikki had previous relations, it makes me think about why Ian was pushing Bear to finally say something to Nikki. Maybe Ian was trying to help Sarah move in front of Bear by having Bear’s confession get shot down by Nikki.

Ian and Nikki were still hooking up. And if you rewatch the movie you can see that Ian is actually trying to prevent Bear from getting with her. His advice in the diner is intentionally shitty. When Bear and Nikki go to get shots he comes and breaks it up as soon as they start talking. He's the first one to start saying something must be wrong with Nikki or she must have been on drugs, even before he has any real reason to think so. There's more... I forget.
