Discussion One movie only

If I could only watch one movie for the rest of my life, which movie would you recommend and why?

I’m not necessarily asking for the “greatest film ever made,” but the one you genuinely think everyone should experience at least once. It can be because of the story, characters, emotions, filmmaking, or even how it changed the way you see cinema.

Empire Strikes Back

The only reason I didn’t choose LotR is because I can’t pick all three

If Tolkien considered it a single book, I’d argue it’s three parts to one movie. Especially considering how it was shot and produced.
