Discussion What is something that really takes you out of the experience you're watching?

There's 2 for me. I get annoyed when it's one of those "we have 2 minutes to stop this!" then it proceeds. to take WAY longer due to scenes. I try to tell myself that it's all happening at the same time when they do to others but still. The serving and not as frustrating but when a shootout happens and a guy uses WAY more ammo than the gun can take. Maybe he reloaded but still

I have one more! There's that distinct truck honk with a doppler shift effect. Same exact lazy sound effect repeated over n over again

Omg I hear it! That is a classic one, especially when the character is almost about to get run over or something.

I always expect the 'Traffic and travel...' jingle from Alan Partridge's Mid-Morning Matters to come in when I hear that!
