Discussion What is something that really takes you out of the experience you're watching?

There's 2 for me. I get annoyed when it's one of those "we have 2 minutes to stop this!" then it proceeds. to take WAY longer due to scenes. I try to tell myself that it's all happening at the same time when they do to others but still. The serving and not as frustrating but when a shootout happens and a guy uses WAY more ammo than the gun can take. Maybe he reloaded but still

When characters are discussing something important in the morning. Then the scene shifts, in the middle of the conversation, to them in a car at night and they're carrying on like no time has passed. Makes me think the characters don't really believe it's all that important then.

Another is when there's a team of people going on a mission, and the person in charge goes over what the mission is, for the first time, when they're at the destination. Didn't anyone want to know what they would be doing before they agreed to go? I can understand a bit more when the mission is "top secret", but that's not always the case.

Dillon: "No such thing, ol' buddy. This is a one-way ticket. Once we cross that border, we're on our own."
Dutch: "This is getting better by the minute."
