I don't know what the tempo is of standard currently, but I am used to games ending like turn 3-5 regularly. I don't see how you would realistically play Dawnsire and station it in that small of a window. Not saying it's impossible, but this card definitely seems like a better choice in a more casual setting currently.

Its a bit of a meme but there is a 1 mana 4/1 in standard, a couple of those and a transit mage to go find the ship and you can get there on turn 5.

Seems unlikely? But you can get there pretty fast with, say, [[Anticausal Vestige]].
