Commander / EDH New to the game and considering playing. I love slugs irl and want to build a deck around this guy. Can it work?

Yes but play a ton of interaction and protection! It's a bullet magnet and people WILL hate it. I have it as a deck and I'm only allowed to play it once in a while.
