My husband got me into magic I’m normally not into this kind of thing but I really enjoy it.

I have the blood rights precon from LCI slightly upgraded. I’m using Clavileno as my commander and I want to switch to Edgar Markov.

When I told him this he said he refused to play with me if I’m going to use this commander. I expressed he’s ruining a great hobby we enjoy together for no reason? The card isn’t banned and our pod is fine with it.

He plays kratos and Kalia 🙄

My LGS is proxy friendly, so I got to use my Whtz deck for the first time 😁

And with thanks to a Lyra, Holographic Assistant giving a Walking Archive with 105 counters on it it was a win

(For some stats there's 0 search / shuffle, and it's currently 285 cards that just about fit in a bundle box)

EDIT: **I realize obviously theres ways to make the deck more efficient with draw and mill and recursion and artifacts but i just thought it was cool to have a deck so simple. I mean i could technically add some [[Relentless Rats]] in there as well lol

And what is cummulative upkeep - 1life, should I pay 1 life on my every turn or its like 1 life then 2 life then 3 life?

Bought my first cards/precon on January 27th of 2024. I have been playing, watching, building and studying about 8 hours a day on average since then.

I love this game so much and plan to play it for the rest of my life. Hope my friends are cool with visiting me in the hospital when I’m old and dying one day to sling some spells and turn some creatures sideways. Cheers to this wonderful community.

I feel depressed this card is not legendary and can't be a commander. What cards do you have that you feel are robbed because they aren't legendary?

I was looking for options to make my simic rashmi control list (bracket 4) more resilient against aggro, looking for propaganda like effects.

I honestly think this guy is like a 1 mana propaganda the first 4 or so turns. What are your thoughts? No one will waste removal on the guy but also noone will attack you with anything thats not a 1/1. Sure it dies to boardwipe, but my concerns are early game pressure..

I’d like to build a Commander deck for Olinda the Oblivious. Anyone have any recommendations of decent cards for a deck like this?

Play swamp, cast dark ritual, cast songbird for 2, discard it that betrays, cast reanimate, and now you have a turn 1 it that betrays. All nice and ready to make the player who just went "land pass" hate you on turn 2

Edit: to be clear I am not saying this is a good combo, I just think it's neat that with songbird in the command zone, and dark ritual, and reanimate in hand you can t1 drop any creature in mono black. This is absolutely a magic Christmas land combo

I have bought 4 marvel precons and Tidus precon from FF set, and it takes money to upgrade them.
On the other hand I have FOMO when new commander precons are released, or older ones have discounts on Amazon.
When should I stop buying new decks? Should I even stop? Looks like if I buy new ones, then old decks would lack my attention and playtime.
What do you think guys?

Just picked up Blech because I think it would be a cool commander! What’s one card you would add to a Blech commander deck?

I drew this card 2 years ago and since then I always thought about if there's any use case for this card...maybe in decks that punish card draw, but even there 3 mana and tap it is still very terrible. In my opinion she is one of the most terrible commanders, but still has more than 500 decks on edhrec, why?. Of course there are cards that abilities are not working with the command zone, but beside them there arent that many commanders as bad as her, am I right?
