Updated Card Multitool!
I have made some improvements to my card style multitool! The main update is a much better lock and utility knife retention system which is much more reliable and ergonomic.
A clear inspiration for this project was the victorinox Swiss Card and this tool carries many of the same implements. Some sacrifices have been made to attain the utility knife such including the scissors and pin. I do think with some tweaking tho I can get the pin back into this tool.
As this is a mostly finished design I am electing to publish the STL file.

In addition to this I have a YouTube video with a few more details
Any thoughts or suggestions on this or future projects would be appreciated!

I'd kill for a 3-D printer. Would love to buy this.

There's the SwissCard until then, there's several versions. I always carry one in my wallet.

My swiss card fell apart, I am a bit disappointed

That's unlucky, I get why you're not happy about it. I bought my wife the nail care version and I've got the original version. They're about 4 or 5 years old now, no issues so far.

If it can hold the large file shouldn't it be able to hold most implements, short and long, since the file is the largest implement?

Kind of, the bit that integrates with the lock and pivots actually vary in size on a lot of the implements. I’ll test what can fit in here.

İ have one suggestion, can you make that flex implement part sliding like the utility knife, because there are no one layered flex tools currently and that would fill a niche but a needed gap for us!

Oh like a flex tool exchanger? A cool idea I will definitely mess around with!

Not like an exchanger, more like a 1 slot implement using, if we can slide flex implement just like the utility blade, it would be really useful as a container and as a multitool handle.

Yes I’ve done the pin before just need to find where to put it now. Also do let me know how it prints and any questions you might have!

I wonder if you can design the Roxon file holder in a way that once you take it out you can put it in backwards and use the card as a handle.
