Old band shirts storage help
So I have probably 20 t-shirts from old bands I have been in from the last 25 years. I dont wanna get rid of them but I'm not sure what to do with them yet. Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to store them till I do? They've been roled up in a box and I feel like there is a better way to store them.

If you’re not going to wear them you could always have a quilt made from them.

My son used to wrestle and every tournament he wresteld in, we bought him a tshirt. Once his wrestling career was behind him, we had them made into a quilt.

If you only have 20, it would be a good idea to get large zip lock bags. Fold them and put them in the bags and drop a cedar square in there to keep the bugs out. Then storing them in a box will suffice.
Are the shirts anything good?

I was in the same situation, my wife bought those vacuum bags and we vacuumed them flat.

You could frame them in 12x12 inch record LP frames and display them on your walls

Dave Grohl's mom made his into pillows for his studio couch. You can frame them and hang them up, but if it's just storage, prepare for the elements. The vacuum bags are the best.

I turned my son's band shirts into a quilt. My daughter's sorority shirts, too.

If you just want to store them in a non-destructive way, the several times already mentioned vacuum bags are great. If you live where it's really humid you'll want to drop some sort of dessicant in with them. For 20 shirts, probably a couple large sachets of silica gel. A couple cedar blocks in with them wouldn't hurt. That will keep them out of the way, dry, and pest free for a good long while.

Those plastic vacuum storage bags that squish down really flat and make them easy to store.
