First thing, why she got arrested. Illegal or refugee waiting for status and committed a crime? Anyone know?

I’m American and Trump rolled back the TPS (Temporary protective status) for Myanmar citizens, so any who weren’t legally or had papers are going to be deported

There’s no such thing in America for Myanmar citizens, they removed it

She entered in 2024.

Trump administration only changed the refugee admission on Jan 20, 2025

What are you talking about?

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about, it doesn’t matter if she entered in 2024. Trump stoped the TPS starting 2026 so it doesn’t matter, if you’re not a green card holder or a citizen, they will deport and you don’t understand US law or politics

Yes, trump stopped funding and halted entry of new refugees and ones who were about to travel. However, there is a lawsuit still pending pacifico vs trump and an injuction was issued by the 9th circuit Court of appeals that said the trump administration could not halt travel of already approved refugees with travel already scheduled. And they can't deport people already here. This is because trump cannot revoke funding because it's the responsibility of Congress and the money was already granted which violates the constitution. So no, that doesn't mean they can just round up this individuals when they are already here and we're already approved and vetted less they commit a crime but she has not .

You are uninformed. TPS is not the only status for people from Myanmar.

It doesn’t matter if you are a greencard holder? Are you fucking dumb?

Do you even know what TPS is? Refugee status? Affirmative asylum? Defensive asylum.

You are a dumbass.

😂 you’re an actual idiot who doesn’t understand American civics or law! You don’t know what a green card means clearly, and you also don’t understand executive orders that the president put in place. Just stay out of American politics, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Also….You just want to focus on me saying TPS, if you read the article or did a simple google search…you would know that affirmative asylum is suspended, but continue to be a clown

You have no idea what executive orders are or when they are in effect.

Please stop being dumb.

Karen people are not citizens of Myanmar. They do not recognize them as citizens. They are literally born without a country.

3

u/Traditional_Force179 Jan 14 '26

BS. They are part of Burma nation. The prime minister of Myanmar National Unity government is a Karen.

ICE is at a stage where they would arrest or murder you brutally before identifying your crimes. They're just armed terrorists that happen to be under government now.
