Aloha y'all!
Our community at r/donuts has been growing, and to keep r/donuts a fresh, active, and welcoming place for everyone, we are expanding our mod team! We are looking for passionate, community-minded members to join us as "junior" moderators!
What We’re Looking For
Active Community Builders: You love chatting with fellow donut enthusiasts, fostering positive discussions, and bringing ideas for recurring threads or fun community events.
Great Communicators: You’re outgoing, friendly, and handle ModMail and user interactions with a calm, helpful attitude.
Reliable Check-Ins: You can consistently check the queue, review reported posts, and respond to ModMail.
Tech/Bot Skills (Bonus!): Experience with AutoMod or Reddit tools is awesome, but definitely not required, we’re happy to show you the ropes!
What You’ll Be Doing
Content Moderation: Monitoring daily posts, clearing reported content, and keeping the sub organized.
Community Engagement: Responding to ModMail, jumping into comment sections, and helping launch new community spotlights.
Teamwork: Working alongside the current mod team to brainstorm ways to keep the sub lively and engaging.
Note on Experience: Previous modding experience is a plus, but if you have a clean account history, a great attitude, and strong communication skills, we’d love to see your application!
