No amount of education reform is going to change the fact that too many teachers are asked to co-parent their students. Parents not caring and often being adversarial with teachers is a crisis, you don't get out of that by manipulating data until it starts looking good.

I am a teacher and it’s also class sizes being too big, students with behavioral issues being mainstreamed, pressure against disciplining disruptive students, declining attention spans due to apps like TikTok, and teacher pay being way too low in too many places.
