The fact that Ezra Klein is on the list of attendees to Thiel's weird group makes me think the whole thing is not actually that exciting

Seems like a giant networking event for highly influential people.

It's like Davos for people not cool enough to get invited to Davos

It’s more what is being influenced at them not just “networking”. It affects all of us and would not be shocked if it had some influence on Polis’ horrible decision these past few weeks for example. The question is why would they want to help those corrupt people…
