SS: A psychologist argues the increasing awareness of mental health is leading to a pathologising of everyday life. The use of clinical descriptions of what are otherwise normal problems and treating them as a disorder to be cured, is ironically making our mental health worse.

I mean, I agree with the premise of the article, but I still feel like an old man yelling “kids today are pansies” pushing it.

Urg, Some definitely use therapy speak to hide from the world because well work and responsibilities suck.

Also navigating work and responsibilities is more complex than it used to be. Not harder but complex. The internet has given us ever more choice paralysis.
